Terrible drama. Two young men, aged 16 and 25, died this Sunday in a traffic accident, in the town of Duclair, in Seine-Maritime. A third man, aged 18, was taken to hospital, reports Paris-Normandie on its website.

The accident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on the D5 departmental road. The circumstances of the tragedy remain to be determined, but we know that the accident vehicle is the only one involved. It ended its journey in the woods, says the local newspaper.

Two accidents before the final exit from the road

A badly negotiated turn, approached at full speed, could be the cause of this tragedy. The front passenger, the injured young man aged 18, immediately managed to get out of the vehicle to alert the emergency services. But they couldn’t do anything for the other two passengers.

The three victims are known in the village, reports Paris-Normandie. The trio is “known for alcohol and narcotics issues,” he says. This one, before their fatal accident, had hit a car, before fleeing, and hitting a wall, before fleeing again.
