Today, the first day of the week, the stock markets started with a boom.
The Mumbai stock market Sensex, which closed last Friday at 59,900.37 points, saw a rise in the opening session today (Monday).
As of 11.42 am today, it was trading at 60,840.31 points, up 939.94 points.
Similarly, the national stock market index Nifty rose by 263.80 points to trade at 18,123.25 points.
Share prices of companies like Infosys, ICICI Bank, RIL have increased.
