The Congress party and itself uphold a secular position: Chennithala’s reply to Sukumaran Nair

Thiruvananthapuram | Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala responded to the criticism leveled by NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair. Chennithala responded to the media saying that no one has projected him as a Nair brand and that the Congress party and himself have always maintained a secular stance and will continue to do so.

Chennithala rejected Sukumaran Nair’s criticism that the Congress lost the assembly elections this time because he was promoted as the chief ministerial candidate. Chennithala pointed out that the Congress did not field a chief ministerial candidate in the assembly elections. General Secretary Sukumaran Nair criticized the Congress leaders who are currently not on good terms with the NSS by name.
