The coach of Hapoel Haifa, Roni Levy, ordered the goalkeeping coach Finny Avraham to no longer come to the team’s training sessions and his place will be replaced by the goalkeeping coach of the youth department, Noor Barbi. Roni Levy’s decisive decision not to see Pini Avraham in the team anymore was due to a difficult exchange between the two at the end of the victory match against Hapoel Hadera 0:3.
This is a very significant decision since Avraham is considered one of the strongest people in the professional team and a confidant of the owner Yoav Katz. Levy decided, at least at this point, not to change the decision and sounded more determined than ever. It is not impossible that Avraham, who was very dominant over the years also in advising on such and other procurement players, will continue in the system in the youth department.
It is worth mentioning that even before Pini Avraham it was the veteran assistant coach Meir Ben Margi who decided on his own initiative and regardless of Roni Levy to leave the position after many years at the club.
At the same time as all of this, the team is looking to strengthen with an additional winger and striker, where if Dino Stieglitz is finally released there will be room for another foreigner. The club’s first acquisition is expected to be the right defender Moatasem Iswai, who concluded his terms on loan until the end of the season from Po’el Be’er Sheva.
