Islamabad: Pakistan cricket team’s leading fast bowler Haris Rauf, 29.
Haris, who once bowled for batsmen practicing nets, now plays for Pakistan in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
During a recent appearance on Pakistan’s Geo News TV show, she shared her diet plan to gain weight.
“I eat 24 eggs a day. Aqib Javid (former Pakistan fast bowler) recommended this diet: eight eggs in the morning, eight eggs at noon and eight eggs at night.
“When I first went to the cricket academy, there were eggshells all over the room. I felt like I had come to an egg farm,” said Haris.
His body weight increased from 72 kg earlier to 82 kg. He said this is the ideal weight for his height.
Haris, who stepped into the international cricket arena in 2020, has played in one Test, 16 ODIs and 57 T20Is so far, taking a total of 102 wickets.
