R.R.R. has raised the pride of the entire India. Nattu in the movie..Natu won the Golden Globe award. Keeravani, who brought the award to India after 12 years, has done three films in Malayalam. Two of these were also Mammootty films.
Keeravani, who composed the music for Mammootty starrer Nilgiri and Suryamanasam, also composed the music for Devaraag directed by Bharathan starring Aravind Swamy and Sridevi. Mammootty composed music in films under the name Maragatamani. Later it was called Keeravani. Keeravani has previously said that Mammootty is one of the actors who encouraged him the most.
The actor recommended Keeravani’s name for many movies in Malayalam, but due to busy schedule, he could only do Devaragam. Keeravani has previously said that Suryamanasam is one of the 10 favorite movies based on the theme of the film. Keeravani was introduced to Malayalam by Mammootty’s film Nilgiri by KG Gangadharan aka KGR, a famous South Indian producer.
