The Railway Department has informed that it has taken action to cancel 42 train journeys per day from tomorrow, Thursday till further notice.
The Railway Department has informed that this decision has been taken due to lack of sufficient staff to run the trains.
Accordingly, 20 train journeys have been canceled on the main line, 04 journeys on the Puttalam line, 02 train journeys on the Kalanivela line and 16 train journeys on the coastal railway line.
