Around 100,000 people attended at noon today (Wednesday) the huge funeral for the elder member of the Council of Torah Sages, Rabbi Shimon Adani, who passed away at the age of 95. The funeral procession was held under heavy security and passed through Chazon Ish Street in Bnei Brak to the Vizhnitz Cemetery where he was buried next to His wife Shulamit. One of his grandchildren, Shalom Aharon Abdani, was murdered in a stampede attack in Jerusalem in the fall of 2014.
