Beneficiary: The late entrepreneur Eli Ostreicher was killed in a motorcycle accident in Thailand

by time news

The late Eli Ostreicher, a serial entrepreneur who came from the Hasidic community of London and lived for years in Borough Park, was killed in a motorcycle accident in Thailand, at the age of 39.

According to a report on the vinnews website, Oestreicher owned five different companies when his Borough Park-based Regal Wings was ranked first in a prestigious magazine’s list in the travel and hospitality category in 2013. Regal Wings, a luxury and corporate services provider, was one of several companies related to travel that Ostreicher founded and the company’s client list included giants such as Walmart, Rolex, the United Nations and Berkshire Hathaway.

Ostreicher, who grew up as a Hasidic child, completed his education with computer courses, combining this knowledge with his love of geography. He maintained close ties with the Hasidic community, in London and Brooklyn, and his door was open to those seeking donations.

A donation of half a million dollars to the ‘Boni Olam’ organization, when he and his business partner were honored at the organization’s dinner in 2013, was initially intended to be secret. But in the Dinar’s YouTube video, the founder of Boni Olam, Rabbi Shlomo Buchner, can be seen explaining that he convinced Ostreicher to publicly announce his pledge, which was given in collaboration with Regal Wings, to inspire others to donate as well.

In reading the email from Ostreicher, Rabbi Buchner told the audience: “I have decided to pledge a sum of 500,000 dollars that I am sure will put a smile on the faces of many couples who are living in pain.”

The details of the circumstances of Ostreicher’s death have not yet been clarified. The date of his funeral has not yet been determined.
