Well-being objective in Courchevel, with two addresses with opposite styles: the Lana, for the family spirit, and the Strato, for confidentiality.

QWhen the weather is bad, the mountain spas fill up. And that of Lana is now part of the DNA of one of the last independent addresses in Courchevel 1850, with, this year, twenty years of complicity celebrated between two family houses – this 5-star chalet and Clarins, a beauty house with family values. and well-established solidarity. All the more reason to rely on it when it comes to experiencing one of the best protocols in body care. A mix of stretching, deep maneuvers aimed at getting the whole lymphatic circuit back on track, and muscle preparation that simultaneously drives away the stress accumulated on arrival.

A global “recovery” which is accompanied by a real work on the breathing to wedge your breath on the altitude. And, once is not custom, the feeling of doing good extends to the plate with the arrival of a first well-being menu worked out jointly by Dr Olivier Courtin-Clarins and the executive chef of places Philippe Guérin. Red mullet fillets with candied lemon and ginger, white fish in a black olive crust and, to finish, pineapple ravioli with passion fruit and lime… it’s delicate, fresh and nothing less comforting than a sweating fondue pot in the middle of the table.

intimacy

In Courchevel 1850, nothing is impossible! And regenerating the tissues in depth takes on its full meaning in contact with the cold. This is why MyBlend, an innovative brand with the group’s tailor-made expertise, has chosen to install its cozy and technological spa at the Strato, an ultra-contemporary 5-star hotel perched in the fir trees, on skis and with breathtaking views of the Tooth of Villars. The spa is here like the whole hotel: intimate and cozy, a space of 800 square meters in total, decorated like a real living room with works of art and antique objects for the attention of the 25 suites and 2 rooms of this “private house” in a way…

The expertise of this spa of the future? Relaunch the entire process of natural regeneration of the skin, and boost stimulation by combining hyperconcentrated formulas, lifting maneuvers, electrostimulation, radiofrequency and, above all, the effectiveness of the myBlend LED mask, which acts very deeply to boost collagen production. A technology based on the principles of light therapy and whose results are immediately visible thanks to the 2,000 LEDs (non-invasive) which slow down the skin aging process. Ideal indeed starter with two sessions at the beginning and at the end of a one week stay. Another singularity of the Strato, a must for gourmets, is the starred table of chef Thomas Prod’homme, an ultra-gifted disciple of Glenn Viel, three stars at the Oustau de Baumanière.

From €570 per night at Lana and €210 for the well-being menu with a high mountain body treatment, lelana.com.
