Washington: American businessman Elon Musk has become the world’s first richest man. He is the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla. In April last year, he bought Twitter for Rs 3.5 lakh crore. He started selling shares in his Tesla company to pay for Twitter. It also brought about controversial changes in Twitter management, including the layoff of 50 percent of its employees, as it turned its full attention to Twitter and drew international criticism.

As a result, Tesla investors are selling their shares and exiting. Due to this, Elon Musk’s property value suffered a huge drop. With this, he lost his status as the world’s first rich man.
In this case, in November 2021, while the value of Elon Musk’s property was 320 billion dollars (about Rs. 26 lakh crore), it has now fallen to 137 billion dollars (about Rs. 11 lakh crore). He has lost 182 billion dollars (about Rs. 15 lakh crore) in the last one year alone. With this, Elon Musk has been placed in the Guinness Book of Records as the person who suffered the greatest loss in human history.
