San Francisco: Elon Musk not paying rent for Twitter office building in Singapore The company has instructed the employees to work from home. Previously, Musk was not ready to pay the rent of the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco. The landlord of the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco filed a complaint for non-payment of rent. The rent arrears was approximately $136,250.

It is reported that the employees received an email message not to come to the office. Twitter’s office was located in the Capitagreen Building in Singapore. The Singapore office is Twitter’s headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region.

Twitter employees have been notified of the decision to work from home via email. It is reported that the building where the Twitter headquarters is located in Singapore has been vacated due to non-payment of rent.

The office was located on the 30th floor of the Hartford Building. The owner of the building had sent a notice to the head of Twitter stating that if the rent is not paid, the contract will end on December 16. It was also demanded to clear the rent arrears within five days.

Musk’s move to convert office rooms into bedrooms, saying it would help workers work all the time, was also highly controversial. Twitter’s office in Seattle is closed due to non-payment of rent. Musk has asked the employees here to work from home. Musk fired cleaners and security guards at several New York offices. There have been complaints about Musk’s behavior not only with employees but also with visitors. But Musk has not yet responded to these.
