Mazel Tov: the ultra-Orthodox reporter of News 13 got engaged

Efrat Finkel (from the series “Neyes”, here 11)

Mazel Tov! Efrat Finkel (29), the North correspondent of News 13, got engaged last night (Thursday) to Kobi Lev (33), a resident of Beit Vagan in Jerusalem.

Finkel, an ultra-Orthodox journalist, was appointed last year as a reporter for the northern region of News 13.

Before that, Finkel served as a reporter on Channel 14, on the Walla website and in the ultra-Orthodox newspaper Bakhilha. She starred in the series “Neyes” which presented the dilemmas and work of several ultra-Orthodox journalists.

In the past, she said in an interview with “Srougi” that dealt with single women in the ultra-orthodox sector: “The Holy One, blessed be He, paves his own path for everyone. It is good for one to get married at 20, for another at 35.”

“There are no rules. We should pray to God to send us abundance soon, but at the same time understand that if we are destined to wait, that is what is right for us.”

She added: “Singleness is a wonderful gift, you need to know how to take advantage of it for good things. For studies, for friendships, to grow in your career, and above all for the work of character and personality building. I wish everyone to find a good, quiet, relaxing and happy love soon.”
