Valletta ∙ In the wake of attacks on Indians in Malta over the last few days, Indians gathered in Valletta, the capital, and protested with their mouths shut. Several incidents of attacks against Indians have been reported in recent days. Some of the victims are still in critical condition. Indians have gathered in Malta’s capital city in a manner that evokes Indian concern on these issues.
Helplessness was revealed by holding up the placard and gagged. Youth Malta spearheaded the event. All but one association came forward to support the Indians in this plight of the entire nation. Speaking at the meeting, the representatives of Yuvadhara Malta and Tamil Association said that everyone should stand together and this is not the time to show disagreements and selfish interests and show the courage to come forward in the difficulties of others.
