Train services hit by ongoing strike by transport workers – UK people suffer

Transport workers’ organizations in the UK are on strike to demand higher wages. Due to this, only 5th of the trains in England are running, causing great inconvenience to the public.

Rail services have also been disrupted, particularly in Scotland, Wales and rural areas of England. At the same time, the trade unions have stated that they are going to continue their struggle as they could not reach a fair agreement in the negotiations with the government.

Moreover, the union organizations have said that the government should resolve their demands soon, otherwise 2,600 ambulance workers working in various places including Wales will go on strike at the end of January.
