Nobitao:

In February 2021, the country’s military overthrew the democratic government and seized power in Myanmar. Following this, the people of Myanmar jumped into protest against the military regime. The army suppressed the protest with an iron hand.

More than 1,500 people were killed in the firing by the soldiers. Armed rebel groups are still active there against the army. A rebel group of Karen tribal people is one of them.

They live in villages located in the eastern part of Myanmar near the border of Thailand. In this situation, the Myanmar Army launched a surprise aerial attack on 2 villages inhabited by the Karen tribe last Thursday.

Then fighter jets bombed 2 churches in those villages. Five people including a 2-year-old child and her mother died on the spot. Dozens more were injured.
