Riyadh: Hajj and Umrah Ministry Under Secretary Dr. Dr. Amd Almadah said. In previous years, the number of pilgrims was drastically reduced due to the Corona situation. After that, 10 lakh pilgrims were allowed last year. This year, 18 lakh people from foreign countries and 2 lakh people from within Saudi Arabia will perform Hajj. Hajj pilgrims will be received this time in full capacity as it was before the Corona pandemic.

Immunization and age requirements are not applicable for Hajj this year. This year’s Hajj will get better quality services. The options available to Hajj pilgrims have also expanded. As previously agreed, the Hajj quota is determined in the ratio of one to one thousand of the Muslim population of each country. Amd Almadah said.

Meanwhile, 255 more female cadets have completed training for the Special Forces for Saudi Diplomatic Security and Hajj Umrah Security. Under the patronage of Interior Minister Amir Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif, Director of Public Security Lt. General Mohammed Al-Bassami conducted the graduation ceremony for female cadets of the army yesterday. The fourth batch of graduates from the Armed Forces’ Women’s Training Institute for Diplomatic Security and Hajj and Umrah Security has now completed their training.
