[Mis à jour le 15 janvier 2023 à 20h48] Tuche fans can watch the third episode of the comic saga on TF1 this Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 9:10 p.m. In this third part, Jeff Tuche, who has become mayor of Bouzolles, decides to launch himself into the presidential race and wins the election by a combination of unforeseeable political circumstances. His family therefore ends up at the Elysée … But was the feature film really shot in this high place of the presidency?

As you might expect, Les Tuche 3 wasn’t really filmed at the Elysée Palace. It was the vigipirate plan that prompted Olivier Baroux to find a new filming location, fearing that his work as a director and the staging would be compromised by security measures. It was therefore at the Château de Voisins, located near Versailles, that the scenes taking place at the Elysée were shot. You should also know that Bouzolles does not really exist either: it is the village of Salin-de-Giraud, near Arles, which served as the setting for the birthplace of the Tuches.

Synopsis – Now mayor, Jeff Tuche is delighted with the arrival of the TGV in his beloved village. Unfortunately, the high-speed train only passes by, without stopping at Bouzolles. Disappointed, Jeff Tuche tries to join the president of the republic so that his village does not remain isolated from the rest of the territory. Without an answer from the Elysée, Jeff sees only one solution to make himself heard: to stand in the presidential election… Taking advantage of unforeseeable political circumstances, Jeff Tuche and his whole family will settle in L’ Elysée for a high-risk mission: Governing France. Their motto: liberty, equality, fraternity.
