Nepal: It has been reported that 68 people, including 5 Indians, died when a passenger plane carrying 72 passengers crashed in Nepal. Rescue operations are ongoing.
A plane owned by Yeti Airlines landed at Pokhara airport in Nepal with 72 people on board including 68 passengers and 4 crew members. Then, the plane suddenly fell to the ground and burst into flames. It is reported that 68 people died in this accident. 5 of them are Indians. The bodies of the dead have been recovered.
The plane caught fire and the place was full of smoke. The Pokhara airport was closed following the plane crash.
It is said that passengers from various countries including India were traveling in the passenger plane that crashed in Nepal.
