Earthquake in indonesia: An earthquake was reported off the coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. A strong earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale occurred this morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported at a depth of 48 km, 48 km southeast of Singil city in Aceh province.

No damage has been reported yet. But the tremors of the earthquake are so strong that panic has spread among the people. After the earthquake, people came out of their houses and fled to a safe place. It is reported that the earthquake was felt at 6:30 am local time. No casualties or tsunami warnings have been reported so far.

Indonesia’s Meteorological Agency has reported that the earthquake was also felt in Medan. The area is located about 120 km north-northeast of the epicenter. A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia in November 2022, killing 56 people. More than 300 people were injured.
