Christine Lambrecht has resigned from her position as Federal Minister of Defence. On Monday she asked Chancellor Scholz to be dismissed. The social democrat was repeatedly criticized during her tenure. At the turn of the year, she drew ridicule and malice with an unprofessional video. Lambrecht’s resignation comes as no surprise. Already on Friday, several media reported about her upcoming resignation.
