Two films of two Tamil superstars were released for Pongal. Ajith’s film Tunim directed by H Vinod and Vijay’s film Waris directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Many trade analysts and trackers have presented their own unofficial data on the success of these films at the box office. Now, for the first time after its release, the makers of the film, Sri Venkateswara Creations, have released the collection figures of Waris.
The makers inform that the film hit the theaters on 14th and collected more than 150 crores in five days. This is the global gross. The film is a mass family entertainer. Rashmika Mandana is coming as Vijay’s heroine. The film is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The film also features SJ Suriya in a pivotal role. Waaris is Vijay and SJ Surya’s fourth film together. Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Sham, Sangeeta Krish, Samyukta, Yogi Babu and others are the main actors in the film. The film has been screened in more than 400 screens in Kerala. The first screenings started at 4 am on the release day.
