On June 22, 2022, 89 National Rally (RN) deputies were elected deputies. Never had the party had such a large group in the National Assembly. An effective strategy: the elusive RN deputies give their opponents little leverage and win points with voters. After the enterprise of demonization, carried out for ten years, the far-right party is now aiming for notabilisation – even if its xenophobic ideological fundamentals have not evolved.
