Officials say 50 women have been kidnapped by religious terrorists in the West African country of Burkina Faso.
Provincial governor Rodolfo Zorgo said that the women were abducted on the 12th and 13th in Arbinda city in Sahel province in the north of the country.
He said the terrorists abducted the women when they went to an area outside the town to pick wild fruits.
Burkina Faso has been in the grip of Al-Qaeda and IS-backed terrorists for years.
