Officials in Ukraine: Zelensky survived at least 12 assassination attempts by Russia

by time news

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky survived at least 12 assassination attempts by Russia since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, Ukrainian officials claim today (Tuesday).

Meanwhile, a new book that will be published soon, “The Battle of His Life: Inside the White House of Joe Biden” written by Chris Vitale, tells about the first two years of the presidency of the President of the United States Biden, and reveals the involvement of the American government in the protection of Zelensky, who was plotted against him from the Russians.

The book claims that CIA chief Bill Burns traveled to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, before the Russian invasion in February 2022 and told Zelensky that Russia was planning to assassinate him.

It was also claimed that the Ukrainian president believed in the month before the outbreak of war that Russia would not invade Ukraine as long as the latter did not provoke, and even claimed that the United States was “causing panic”.

In his book, Vital claimed that Burns told Zelensky very clearly that special forces of the Kremlin had received instructions to eliminate him. “Biden asked CIA chief Burns to give Zelensky as many accurate details as possible about the Russian plots,” he wrote. Zelensky, it is claimed, was very surprised by this.

Vital also claimed that at least two attempts to assassinate Zelensky were prevented thanks to American intelligence. “The intelligence was so detailed that it helped Zelensky’s security forces thwart two Russian attempts to assassinate him,” it said.
