Assistant Professor and Clinical Pharmacy Consultant at Irada Complex in Riyadh, Dr. Hadeel Daghash, stressed that a child can only be considered to be suffering from distraction when he is unable to perform his daily tasks at home and school continuously, and has difficulty maintaining focus and attention, following instructions and directions, arranging, organizing or Preserving them, in addition to not listening to those who talk to him, easily distracting him, hating and avoiding tasks that require mental effort and constant focus, easily losing tools, forgetting daily activities and tasks, and moving from one activity or task to another without accomplishing any of them.

While the symptoms of hyperactivity are the difficulty in staying seated for a long time, running and climbing a lot anywhere, chattering and talking a lot, messing with the hands and feet such as swinging while sitting on a chair, difficulty participating in activities quietly, getting bored quickly, impulsiveness, in addition to not thinking and caring about the consequences.
