If Ancelotti goes, so will we, superstars out of Real; Big moves are happening

by time news

Reports say that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti’s exit from Real will force many superstars to leave the club. Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Vinicius Junior are three players who could follow the Italians out of the club, while Lucas Vazquez and Daniel Carvajal also see potential final seasons.

Ancelotti’s fate as Real Madrid manager was left in doubt after Sunday’s (January 15) 3-1 Spanish Super Cup defeat by Barcelona. President Florentino Perez is also likely to try to sack the manager during a trophy-less season similar to the 2014-15 campaign.

According to El Nacional, Ancelotti could see the sacking of a number of people behind him, most of whom are integral to the team. Captain Benzema, whose contract expires in 2023, could accept offers from other clubs if Ancelotti is sacked prematurely. Both Cruz and Vinicius respect Ancelotti as a father figure. Therefore, if there is no coach, the players will also go out.
