On December 10, an IndiGo flight operated between Chennai and Trichy was being loaded when a passenger accidentally opened the emergency door and apologized on his behalf.

As the incident took place and many discussions are going on regarding it, the Civil Aviation Minister today confirmed that it was Tejashwi Surya who opened the emergency door.
