For NIS 500 million: Doron Ofer sold shares in Lisron

by time news

Businessman Doron Ofer sold Melisron shares for an estimated amount of NIS 500 million. These are holdings of a little more than 4%, which reflect a price of NIS 242 per share – a discount of 4.5% on the market price.

Only recently did Liora Ofer buy her brother Doron’s shares the full share capital in Ofer Investments and in fact the two went their separate ways. Liora Ofer serves as the chairman of Melisron’s board of directors by virtue of her position as the controlling owner of Ofer Investments. In recent years, among other things, due to the provisions of the law to promote competition and reduce concentration, changes were made to the structure of holdings in the Ofer Investments group, within which the brothers Liora Ofer and Doron Ofer remained, the group’s shareholders.

Melisron is the owner and operator of shopping malls and office spaces throughout the country. The company’s stock fell by 12% in 2022 to a price of and is now trading for NIS 252.9, which represents a market value of NIS 12.01 billion. In the first nine months of 2022, the company earned approximately NIS 1.05 billion on revenues of approximately NIS 1.24 billion. The value expresses a profit multiplier of 7.
