One of the most successful jokes of the perfect sitcom “30 Rock” was a very simple parody of the reality world, which will spare no means to go as low as possible. Within the program, everyone was based on “Milfias Island”, a “Survival”-style reality show, only with “20 Milliafs and 50 students in the 8th grade”. So, 15 years ago, it was a wild gag from the mind of Tina Fey. Today it is a show that is actually on TV. And of course we had to check out this trash. After all, we are fans of “Milfia Island”.
The lines of comparison to the parody were drawn towards the show “Milfia Mansion” that aired yesterday on the TLC network (a network known for its cross-border trash reality), and rightly so. Although in the version of 2023 there are no 8th graders, because it is illegal, but what there is is eight women who are around the age of fifty (the youngest is 43, the oldest is 59) and define themselves as millipedes, moving into one villa with 8 men in the early 1990s their 20 So far strange, but not extreme. But wait, there’s a twist, and it’s a perfect cover of reality.
You may have asked yourself why it is called the “milf mansion” and not the “cougar mansion”, and if so – you spend too much time on porn sites. This twist opens a whole hornet’s nest of horrifying situations – the first of which occurs in the very first episode, where the mothers have to feel the boys’ muscles and identify with a blindfold who their real son is. Later in the first episode there’s a son-to-mother cockblock, and the theoretical potential for terrible dynamics just hovers over the whole estate. Imagine “You slept with my mom? I’ll sleep with yours” one, or “You’re not good enough for my son” another, and you have the world’s worst/great reality trash. Thanks Tina Fey.
