It follows from the documents on the portal that the institute received a grant from the Analytical Center for the Government, which is the general customer of the project. The size of the grant was not disclosed. The winner of the tender will have to complete the work by September 1, 2024.
According to the institute, the spread of technologies that use digital traces for personality analysis will make it possible to assess the personality and predict its behavior without psychological testing, which can only be carried out with the person’s voluntary consent. One of such sources is social networks, in which there is a lot of information about hobbies, interests, user records that record indicators of his behavioral activity.
The press service of the analytical center told the publication that it is planned to use artificial intelligence to analyze social networks. The institute’s program provides for the creation of a trusted technology for diagnosing personality traits, the press service added.
They explained that the technology will be used to assess the state of people who make key government and corporate decisions, and to recognize the manipulation of large groups of people, assess the creative potential of employees and model their professional development. The technology will also help identify and promptly respond to incitement to ethnic hatred, the formation of death groups, recruitment or involvement in terrorist activities.
