Lijo Chetan quarreled for one thing, but it was not my only mistake: Anthony Varghese
Anthony Varghese is an actor who entered Malayalam cinema through Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaali Diaries and became the audience’s own Pepe. Antony also appeared as one of the main characters in Lijo’s film Jallikattu.
Anthony Varghese says that Lijo had a fight with him during the shoot. Antony said that he heard the fight while taking a long shot in Angamaly Diaries, but it was not his mistake that he had to retake that shot again and again.
In an interview with Behindwoods, the actor spoke about Lijo’s direction and his experiences with him.
‘Lijo Chetan has quarreled with me. It was for not acting polite. Other than that, why else fight..(Laughs).
The incident took place in Angamaly Diaries. But actually it was not my only mistake. The part about things in Germany was being shot.
It was a program with a few people. It’s either someone standing there’s fault, or someone standing here. Or ten ML’s, mine or Vineet’s fault. This error has occurred several times.
It was a long shot. That shot went off about thirty times. Finally finished before noon. As it was a single shot, if you get it right once, the day’s work will be over,’ said Anthony Varghese.
Poovan is the new movie starring Anthony. Directed by Anurag Engineerings and Super Sharanya, the film is directed by Vineeth Vasudevan and will hit the theaters on January 20.
