New Delhi: Following Maruti Suzuki, Toyota has announced a recall of 1,400 cars due to faulty airbag design.

Maruti Suzuki has announced a recall of 17,000 cars manufactured between December 8, 2022 and January 12, 2023, including AltoK10, S-Presso, Eco, Baleno, Breeza, and Grand Vitara due to design issues with airbags.

In this case, Toyota has also announced the recall of two models of cars, the Glanza and the Urban Cruiser Highrider, manufactured during this period. A total of 1,400 cars are being recalled.

All these cars will be tested and if the problem with the airbag is confirmed, it will be fixed to the customers.

In December last year, Maruti Suzuki and Toyota recalled certain models of their cars due to seat belt design issues.
