Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur gets married. The bride is Mithali Parulkar. The two have been friends for a long time. The engagement took place today. The wedding will take place next year.
The engagement was held in a simple ceremony in Mumbai. Fewer than 100 guests attended the ceremony.
Shardul Thakur, 30, has played four Tests, 15 ODIs and 24 Twenty20 Internationals for India. Thakur will not play in the Test series against New Zealand as he has been rested after the T20 World Cup.
