The huge success of the films released in the CBI series is an example of the Malayalee’s interest in crime films. This is the beginning of the fifth coming of Mammootty’s all time hit character Sethuramayya CBI. The shooting started today at a house in Vyttila, Kochi. K. Madhu, SN Swamy, Appachan, Aroma Mohan, Babu Shahir and many others were present on the occasion. K. Madhu is the director of SN. Swamy writes the screenplay.
The production is Swargachitra Appachan. The main feature of this Mammootty movie is that Appachan returns to the heights of the commercial potential of Malayalam cinema. Mammootty will join in the second week of December. As soon as the shooting started, the fans started throwing posters and celebrating.
The film is scheduled to be shot in Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad and New Delhi on a single schedule. Apart from Saikumar, the cast also includes Ranji Panicker, Ramesh Pisharody, Dileesh Pothen, Saubin Shahir, Asha Sarath and Malavika Menon.
