Another 35 members of Parliament of Tehreek-e-Insaf led by Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan have resigned from their positions.

A no-confidence motion was brought in the Parliament against Imran Khan, who was the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in April last year, in which he failed.

Following his loss of office, he resigned along with 123 MPs from his Tehreek-e-Insaf and allied parties.

In this situation, 34 MPs from Imran’s party and one MP from the ally party Awami Muslim League. It is said that the chairman Raja Powais Ashraf refused to accept the resignation of 35 people.

In this situation, reports came out on Friday that the chairman accepted the resignation of those 35 people.

Imran, who has been accusing the government of overthrowing his government at the center due to a conspiracy by the US and Pakistan army, is insisting on early elections to the parliament. To put pressure on it, the Mahana Sabhas where his party was ruling were dissolved.

Governor Ghulam Ali on Wednesday dissolved the assembly of the Tehreek-e-Insaf-ruled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The Punjab Provincial Assembly, which was already ruled by the party, was also dissolved.

In this context, another 35 MPs from the Tehreek-e-Insaf party have resigned demanding early elections.
