Vector product market is used as weekly market on Friday and daily market on other days. Daily rent is collected from the municipality for the 184 shops operating here. At present new shops are to be built at that place at a cost of Rs.5 crores. A meeting to ask the opinion of the traders was held yesterday in a hall in Vekyanvilai.

Shops are to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore in the market owned by the Vektionvilai municipality. Shops will be provided to all traders who are paying daily rent to the municipality. Until the construction of the new shops, a site will be selected on the bypass and temporary shops will be built for all traders. All traders should cooperate for this.
