Manama: India’s Ramkumar Ramanathan won the title at the ATP Challenge Two Tennis Tournament in Bahrain.

This is the first time that a Tamil Nadu player has won a single title in the Challenge. In the final, Ramkumar defeated Evgeny Klovsky of Russia 6-1, 6-4. The game ended in 1 hour 8 minutes.

To show Ramanathan’s prowess from the start of the match, Evgeny’s backhand shot was deflected by Ramkumar in the first set the moment he crossed the base line. Ramkumar had just saved a break point. That was the only time he had met the break point in the entire game. His deaths were immense in this game as well.
