Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav has complained that his soul friend and manager Shailesh Thackeray stole Rs 44 lakh from him. It is alleged that Shailesh bought the land in his own name after taking Rs 44 lakh from the actor under the guise of buying the property. Police registered a case on Umesh’s complaint and started investigation.
In 2014, Umesh Yadav appointed his close friend Shailesh Thackeray to manage his assets. The actor assigned his trusted Shailesh to look after the financial matters so that he could be active in cricket. But Umesh says in the complaint that Shailesh was cheating on him.
Shailesh bought the land in his own name after taking Rs 44 lakh from the actor under the pretense of buying the property. He bought lakhs from Umesh in the name of buying land at Koradi.
In the complaint, Umesh Yadav says that Shailesh refused to return the money or hand over the property when he realized the fraud and asked him to return the money.
