“If people ask that the DMK has not fulfilled its promises, tell the real reason,” said Minister Muthuswamy.

Even though there is sympathy for the demise of the MLA, when we go to campaign for property tax hike, electricity tariff hike, milk price hike in this regime, people will ask us. They will ask that the DMK has not fulfilled the promises made during the elections. We should be prepared to give an appropriate response. Vote should be reported and collected. He spoke thus. Following this, Minister Muthuswamy said: Due to the financial crisis caused by the previous government, some projects have been delayed. That is why the government has announced increase in property tax, milk price and electricity tariff. There is also a situation where the state government has to fight with the central government to implement many schemes. Due to non-cooperation of the central government, some projects are delayed. Therefore, it is necessary to explain to the people that there has been a delay in the promised works. People will necessarily accept the real reason.
Not only because of the sympathy caused by the death of the son-in-law, but also because of the chief’s achievements, he should get more points. Thirumakan won by 8,900 votes in the last election. This time it should win with many times more votes. Minister Muthuswamy spoke thus.
