Bangkok: Thailand celebrates monkey festival after a gap of two years. The celebration was canceled for two years due to Kovid. The festival is held on the last Sunday of November every year. The Monkey Festival is held in Lopburi, Central Thailand. Lopbury is also known as the Monkey Province. The festival originates from the belief that these monkeys bring prosperity and abundance to the region. Accordingly, a wide feast will be prepared for the long-tailed monkeys of the area. The main attraction of Lopburi is the monkeys. The Monkey Festival is also celebrated as a token of gratitude for the monkeys that attract tourists to this place.

This time around, two tons of fruit and vegetables were prepared for thousands of monkeys outside the Fra Prang Sam Yod Temple. Many tourists came to see the festival. When the monkeys saw the food, they ran over and crawled over the travelers. Later, the stomach was full of fruits and vegetables and they were collected and taken away.
