European shipping companies demand clarity from the EU regarding green fuel regulations

Leading companies from across Europe’s fuel supply chain have joined with NGOs to press EU lawmakers to provide clarity and certainty on making the long-term investments in renewable fuels required for a clean energy transition.

47 entities representing the entire value chain of green fuels, including suppliers, users and marine technology providers, addressed a letter to the Council of the European Union, the Parliament and the Commission, calling to maintain the proposed sub-quota of 2% of non-biological renewable fuels.
