Bowling century; Kiwis bowler gave up a shameful record against India

The Indian team is on its way to victory in the India-New Zealand 3rd ODI. After winning the first two ODIs, the Indian team is looking to shake up the Kiwis in the third ODI as well.

While India, who batted first, scored 385 runs for nine wickets in 50 overs, the Kiwis are currently batting at a score of 119 runs for the loss of two wickets in 17 overs.

Kiwis bowler Jacob Duffy has shown a shameful performance in the match. Duffy bowled 10 overs and conceded 100 runs. With this, Duffy was able to take three wickets, but the embarrassing record of being the third Kiwi bowler to concede the most runs in an ODI was held by Jacob Duffy.

Kiwi bowler Tim Southee who conceded 105 runs against India in Christchurch in 2009 is the New Zealand player who conceded the most runs in ODIs.

Martin Snyder was the first bowler to fall short of a century in the Kiwis’ line-up when he conceded 105 runs in the 1983 match against England. Jacob Duffy has now joined the list of these two stars.

In the third one-day match, four Kiwi players bowled 10 overs in which only Lockie Ferguson, who conceded 53 runs, and Mitchell Santner, who conceded 58 runs, showed a better performance in the bowling line.

Meanwhile, the Indian team reached a huge score of 385 runs with the excellent batting performance of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Rohit scored 101 runs and Gill scored 112 runs.

India’s T20 series against the Kiwis will begin on January 27.
