After last Friday the Minister of Culture and Sports Miki Zohar appealed to the chairman of the association Shino Zoertz with a request to re-examine the collective punishment, today (Wednesday) the latter’s decision was made to freeze any punishment of this type.
After the decision, the Minister of Culture and Sports said, Mickey Zohar: “I congratulate the chairman of the football association, Shino Zoertz, for his decision to freeze the collective punishment in the sports fields.” Minister Zohar also added: “This is the first step to better football, better fans and better games.”
