“Satya has sold around 840,000 shares of its holdings in Microsoft as part of its personal financial planning and diversity reasons,” a Microsoft spokesman said.
Nadella took office in 2014, helping to improve Microsoft’s profits, with the company’s current market value currently standing at $ 2.53 trillion – an increase of about 780% since he was appointed to the position. Microsoft today is one of the highest value companies in the world, thanks in no small part to Nadella’s management.
