Chennai: Renowned Telugu dubbing artiste Srinivasa Murthy passed away today in Chennai due to ill health. He is 55 years old.
Srinivasa Murthy is a famous playback singer of Telugu cinema. He started his career as a dubbing artist in cinema in the 1990s and has lent his voice for over 1000 films. Especially Srinivasa Murthy who has been the dubbing artist for all the films of actor Suriya released in Telugu.
Recently, Madhavan dubbed for the Telugu version of Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry The Nambi Effect’ and Ajith for the Telugu version of ‘Viswasam’. He rose to prominence by providing background vocals for actors Shah Rukh Khan, Mohanlal, Upendra films and Telugu versions of certain Hollywood films. He has also acted in some Telugu films.
In this case, Srinivasa Murthy, who was undergoing treatment in Chennai due to ill health, passed away due to a heart attack. The film industry is mourning his death.
