LG unveils the Smart Cam Pro model AN-VC22PR, a new 4K video camera designed for use in hospitals and health centers. LG Smart Cam Pro provides sharp and clear image quality with or without lighting, enables direct and smooth video communication at any time, day or night. The new model also offers healthcare service providers the ability to customize thanks to the integration with LG’s webOS.
The LG Smart Cam Pro features a 4K RGB main camera and a 4K night vision camera, each offering sharp ultra-high resolution images (3,840 X 2,160) and X4 digital zoom. The device also provides LG’s HDR effect, which knows how to adjust the color and contrast, in order to make the photo easier and clearer to view, even when the photo environment is with strong, natural or artificial light. Combined with a TV/display screen in the patients’ rooms, LG Smart Cam Pro will allow the medical staff to meet their patients virtually, provide personalized advice and verify if the patient is required to visit physically. Also, during a call made through LG Smart Cam Pro, the patient’s TV screen will be shared through the camera, until the end of the call.
Compact and economical design – the LG Smart Cam Pro camera can be placed above or near the television / display screen, it has a delicate shell in a dark silver color, a black front that includes a privacy cover that can be moved over the main lens, according to the user’s discretion. In addition, in order to provide optimal communication between patients and the medical staff, LG Smart Cam Pro is equipped with a built-in 4-way microphone system with echo cancellation and noise reduction.
LG’s 4K smart camera fully interfaces with LG webOS, provides a high-quality and convenient user experience, allows adding and updating new and customized services in the following version updates. Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.’s System on a Chip (SoC) for the Internet of Things (IoT) – will enable an excellent video experience with intensive edge AI applications and provide seamless software services for healthcare solutions.
