At least 97 people were injured in a new train accident involving a passenger train near Cairo, Egypt. According to reports from the authorities, four carriages of the train, which departed from Cairo and headed for the Nile Delta province of Mansoura, derailed as it traveled near the city of Qalyubia. An internal investigation is underway to determine the causes of the accident which occurs a few days after another derailment in which 15 people were injured.
