Munnar: Dogs have bitten and killed six goats belonging to Karupiya at Kovilur and Vanchiwayal in Vattavadai Panchayat near Munnar.

One of his goats was killed by wolves last week. In this case, yesterday at 3:00 p.m., six goats of Karupiya were grazing in the area. Then more than ten wolves bit the sheep and killed them. Hearing their sound, the uterus tried to save it but could not. The bodies of three goats dragged by wolves were recovered from the nearby forest.

Even when the forest department went to the spot, no further action could be taken due to the absence of a veterinary doctor. A compensation of Rs.1 lakh was calculated.
