The Spanish film festival will be celebrating next February 11 with the gala of the 37th edition of the Goya Awardswhich will be held in the Andalusian city of Seville.
The actress clear lake and the actor Antonio de la Torre They will be in charge of presenting this edition in which the best of Spanish cinema will be awarded, among which is the director Carlos Saura who will receive the Goya de Honor.
Behind the scenes, in production, Gestmusic will be in charge, acquired by the French group Banijay Iberia. Programs like ‘Operación Triunfo’, ‘Your face sounds familiar’, ‘Look who’s dancing!’ or ‘Starfall’ are creations of this company, which is considered one of the main television content producers in Spain. At the controls of this whole project and, therefore, of the production of the gala of this edition, are Tinet Rubira y Guardian angel.
For this edition, Rubira and Custodio were in charge of directing the announcement of the Goya Awards, where you can see the presenters, Clara Lago and Antonio de la Torre, tour the different streets and emblematic places of the city of Seville.
This year, ‘The Beasts’by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, starts as a favorite at the Goyas with 17 nominations, but follows closely ‘Model 77’by Alberto Rodríguez, with one less nomination, and ‘Alcarrás’ y ‘five beads’ tied with 11.
The main novelty presented this year at the Goya Awards is that in the categories they go from having four nominees to fiveor, for what will be the edition in which there are more nominees.
